rental, the surrounding area and the Costa Blanca. The apartment is situated approximately 3 miles north of Santa Pola (map
of the local area) and is on a new development. It consists of an upstairs apartment which is on two levels. The upper level is a fully tiled solarium (sunroof), to enjoy the glorious Spanish sunshine.
It is equipped with
sun beds, table and chairs, BBQ etc. The lower level is the living accommodation
which is fully equipped to a high standard. Gran Alacant is a new residential development only around fifteen minutes drive from Alicante Airport, however there is no aircraft noise
and a short distance from the beach. There are many local amenities such as restaurants serving many different kinds of world cuisine, shops, several supermarkets, banks, bars, gift and bread shops etc. There are 3 communal swimming pools for sole use of the residents of the development as a
security key is required for access, the largest is only 30 seconds walk, from
the apartment and the two others only a short distance. This area of Spain is
said to have the healthiest climate in the World by the World Health
Organisation and the sun to shine 320 days a year (click the banner below for up
to date forecast). To get the very best from your visit, we would recommend you
hire a car (for as little as £10 per day - see LINKS page) although the bus services are very reasonable and reliable, with easy access to other areas on the Costa Blanca.
